EVERYONE MUST DO THEIR PART TO WIN THE WAR ON ADDICTION. FOR THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY - ITS TRAINING SCHOLARSHIPS
The magnitude of establishing a recovery coaching program is such that each sector of the community must play a role if the benefits for all are to reach fruition. The business community (and members of the recovery community that have financial resources) must be sought to provide scholarships to subsidize the cost of attending the training. Members of the recovery community are asked to commit to a 30 hour training and orientation process to serve as volunteer members of the Recovery Force. The schools and churches are asked to provide space and any accommodations necessary to host training academies and the operation of the recovery community organization (RCO) that oversees the war on addiction. During the opioid crisis, the medical community is asked to make a substantial contribution.
